We celebrated the 50th day of school on November 12, 2015.
We came together as one school for the second time this year to look back on predictions made during the 60's about today. Check them out
here.
We then made our own predictions for 2065:
- Flying pigs
- We finally get our hover boards
- Heads up displays—computers overlaid on our vision
- Half Life 3
- Instant Replicators from Star Trek
- Clean energy
- Changing social norms—being naked in public will be ok
- No more global warming
- Female president
- Discover life on Mars
- Jetpacks
- Moon colony
- Monkeys that fly helicopters
- No more cancer
We ended our brief celebration by singing Happy Birthday to Athenian and eating celebratory cupcakes baked by alumna Emily Freedman '03.
